got the 1080p torrent done and started watching. I noticed that the opening on each episode is giving me artifacts for what should be the japanese karaoke text. The ending works fine as well as the clean opening / ending karaoke. This problem in the opening is consistent across all episodes. Was wondering what could be causing this.

No no, don't spend time on checking DXVA or anything like that. It's a very minor thing. I only posted about it in case someone thought it was Elysium's fault or couldn't figure out the solution. I've got another series in which the audio will start to lag if a particular FLAC codec is enabled on some PC configurations. The thing is, you'd have to rewatch a series half a dozen times on different configurations to catch every small thing like this. In this example, a mere fraction of a second's worth of 'corruption' out of a dozen episodes?

These days, it's hard to buy a PC that has to have DXVA or can't playback 1080 encodes anyway ^-^.

In EP10 at 10:25, some slight video corruption IF CUDA is enabled. Else , it's as good as every other Elysium release ^-^.

=\ That's unfortunate. Sorry, but we don't check our releases for DXVA compatibility. At least, that's what I'm assuming you mean by CUDA, since you're not actually encoding anything.

# Spinarakk | 2011-03-10 20:12
Thank you so much for actually doing this series in 720p. I kind of wish you guys focused on encoding shows to 720p instead of 1080p, but o well. Btw it's not that I don't have the space to store it, it's that Australia has freakin bandwidth caps and I don't see any bloody difference in 1080p compared to 720p, and also because I have tons of other series in 720p and I for some reason am OCD about consistency.

Now if you guys could hurry up with Railgun 720p. I would get Chihiro but they suck, and you guys don't use ordered chapters which is a dam good thing.

Only here at Elyisum-Subs: Lossless x264 encodes of blu-ray anime!! 230GB per Episode 720p... you don't want to know about the 1080p...

Wow you did the 720 already, you rule!! Less than 3GBs for a 720 BD is pretty awesome (probably the best size for a batch I've seen). Thanks a bunch.
I gotta say though I don't think 230GB per episode adds up to 2.93GBs. You might need to edit that XD

Huh.. a 720p release... guess I don't have to make one now. Thanks man.

This show just isn't BD-Quality to me ;/
Oh well, it's good enough and fairly entertaining.

I'll do it per request then, don't expect the filesize to melt tho~

# ImagineBreaker | 2011-02-28 11:47
I sixth a 720p release, it would be awesome if you could do one especially since some people (myself included) can't play 1080p properly which was the reason I couldn't get your Railgun and some of your other projects =(

Well, to tell you the truth, I would prefer a full torrent, so I vote for wait.
But that's just my opinion.
