comparison iv made between 720 & 1080, you can see that the 1080 looks bit better (sharper), i guess if you have a small screen, 720 is good but on bigger screens its better to pick up the 1080.
# hitlame | 2012-08-04 17:04
when i open this with vlc a green screen is showing up, do i miss something?

Yes you miss that you are using the worst video player ever :P

Check how to install a proper player that support our releases and many others on the top, go to Help tab then chose video playback help and chose one of them, as for me I prefer MPC-HC it's a personal preference so you can chose between both

Hi there. I have encountered several problems playing the subtitles that in the format .ASS. Is .SRT more common? I can't figure out how to make the subs work ;~; Any help appreciated
# Hackimist | 2012-06-17 18:09
Use MPC or VLC(Latest version) to watch this files.. and make sure it is enabled..
I think .ass is more common.. than .srt

Particularly with anime, .ass is standard. When it comes to movies, a lot of groups use .srt.
# Shinichi | 2012-04-06 11:16
Thank you for the release!!!
# Shinichi | 2012-04-05 21:55
FileServe is down again, is there any chance to up them in another website? BTW, thank you for this release! I wish I found more seeders.
# Ametatsu | 2012-04-05 22:34
Go to our DDL section
# JrrMaster | 2012-02-26 12:05
Is there a creditless release for railgun OVA?
# Guy | 2012-01-14 17:36
There ever gonna be a DDL on the 720p OVA? Torrent is being goofy and won't go past 50-ish%.
# Uiharu | 2012-01-15 15:47
It's up.
# Guy | 2012-01-17 18:43
Thanks a bunch.
# V | 2011-12-11 02:12

# Kyou | 2011-11-26 22:44
Well, I'm trying to download the 720p series, and I could really use some more seeds here pl0x...
# miracles | 2011-11-04 12:21
It;s 1080p have 10-bit treatment too??
# King | 2011-11-04 23:05
no, the 1080p is an upscale so it only get 8-bit treatment if i'm not mistaken
# someone | 2011-10-26 22:13
The Fileserve links are not working.
# Uiharu | 2011-10-27 13:03
I tried a few and they are working, tell me which ep from which version are yo having problems.
# Darkassasin | 2011-10-06 14:12
Can some people seed the 1080 torrent. I'm stuck at 37%
# sharm | 2011-10-05 21:58
waiting for the 720p fileserve ddl links anxiously....
# biribiri | 2011-09-23 13:48
thanks alot for the subs
# A | 2011-09-22 15:28
Will there still be a 720p Hi10P OVA?
# Nyanto! | 2011-09-16 11:36
Just curious, but would CoreAVC 3.0 work just as well with 10-bit?
# Uiharu | 2011-09-20 16:26
Yes it does.
# D | 2011-09-15 13:38
Hmmm, if you look at the file size in the folder it doesn't matter since it's the same file size... I thought Hi10P was smaller?
# Tommy King | 2011-09-15 16:18
the quality is so much better than AtsA's obviously...
# D | 2011-09-18 13:58
I meant compared to the old release...
# A | 2011-09-12 10:34
Your Hi10P is better than AtsA's video quality?
# Schezza | 2011-09-07 08:38
nice style
# tani koku | 2011-09-06 06:08
I doubt it will, but does this include the Commentary Audio track?
# Uiharu | 2011-09-06 21:12
No, and probably will not be included.
# Tommy King | 2011-09-05 17:02
i've been wating for this could you provide the DDL for 720p? torrents are dead slow in my country...
# killazys | 2011-09-05 19:02
# Schezza | 2011-09-07 08:41
what's that?

looks like a remote downloader or something like that?
# killazys | 2011-09-08 16:55
pretty much.
# Thanks | 2011-09-04 09:33
Thanks for your continued great releases! =)
# Jack | 2011-09-03 21:55
Hi, do elysium releases keep signs etc translated, espe cially for releases that take the subtitles from other groups?
was watching aka to Test to Shoukanjuu with mochi subs, and find some signs etc not translated, at least in the 1st few episode where I watched compared what i remember of the original release by mochi. Think they were hardsubbed originally.
# Ametatsu | 2011-09-04 00:24
Yes, we do keep signs translated. With Mochi vs gg subs, they both decided to translate different signs, thus having a random mix of signs translated and untranslated
# karry299 | 2011-09-03 03:54
Uh, it looks horrible, i started episode 1 and see ugly color bleeding and blocking all over the screen starting from the very first moment. What is up with that ? I;ve tried various players, with internal and system codecs. Players with internal codecs just show a green screen with moving blocks.
# karry299 | 2011-09-03 03:58
Oh, ok, i see, this is some new "10P" thing that barely anyone can actually play, and requires to install new codecs and players. As if people dont get enough codec conflicts already. Yet another encoding team stupidly running in front of the train.
# fercilu | 2011-09-03 16:12
Try using PotPlayer. It worked for me. I also had problemes playing 10bit coded files before.
# Ametatsu | 2011-09-04 00:27
I'm sorry you don't feel that 10-bit video is good. Codecs are not hard to figure out, it's people being lazy and not reading. All you really need are two codecs and a player to play all the anime you need on the internet...
# Thanks | 2011-09-04 09:28
Step 1 : Install CCCP.
Step 2 : Play video.

So difficult... I mean, how could anyone figure that out?
# killazys | 2011-09-05 19:02
this is not recommended, as CCCP (for now, maybe this will change in the future) dithers down to 8-bit twice before rendering, which decreases quality quite a bit.

the recommended method is linked to in the "info.txt" that comes with the 720p release.
karry299, if you followed those instructions, you would have had no issue.
# Nyanto! | 2011-09-12 20:11
Just curious, but would CoreAVC 3.0 work just as well with 10-bit?
# Widde | 2011-10-09 14:28
Why would you care that much about quality? It's not like your watching Transformers. It's drawn pictures, there's a limitation on how much you can draw...
And why do you HAVE to use CCCP..? No freedom in codecs..?
# Widde | 2011-10-10 15:11
CCCP doesn't help... Same problem persists...
Why use 10-bit if it does not work?
What new codecs are there?
# Nyanto! | 2011-10-10 16:55
Just because 10-bit doesn't work for you, doesn't mean it doesn't work for other people.

There's a "Video Playback Help" in the help section. Go check it out.
# Anon | 2011-08-31 21:55
Excellent work, glad to see you guys doing 10bit releases.
# cmos | 2011-08-31 13:08
Could you please make creditless endings of episodes 12, 14, 16, 17, 22, 23 and 24? Those episodes all have non-standard endings with credits showing up during the last part of an actual episode.
# Petrushka | 2011-08-30 08:57
Guys, may u consider to release Working BDs? this show is truly hilarious! :D
# Blazing Badger | 2011-08-30 01:34
Which one should I get? The 1080p is an upscale and in 8-bit but only around 500MB, with a lot of that the large FLAC file. The 720p is Hi10P with AAC audio at about 300MB. Does the 720p look a lot better or about the same as the 1080p's quality because of the Hi10P and more room for video bitrate with the smaller AAC?
# Revenant | 2011-08-30 07:15
The 720p is the way to go actually. There's no additional detail to be found in the 1080p.
The 720p probably won't look "better" than the 1080p, but you aren't missing out.

They are both looking fine. Your call.
# deadman80 | 2011-08-29 09:30
Hi10P does not automagically make the filesize of a video go down ^^;;
I just started the torrent, but my money is on there being higher overall video quality (less banding, artifacts, truer colors, etc) than the 8bit version. Seems like this is the norm with 10bit, which is nice. ^^ I've even seen a few screenshots floating around that looked like it was even able to repair errors in the source O_o (Whether they were genuine or not, I wouldn't vouch for 'em, but the new tech is indeed impressive enough as it is.)

We leechers need to understand that comparing Hi10P > 8bit, it generally seems to work like this:
* Same quality > lower filesize
* Better qualilty > equal filesize
* Best quality > equal/bigger filesize
# Revenant | 2011-08-30 07:17
Indeed. With 10bit precision, x264 can achieve a higher perceptual quality at the same CRF setting as 8bit. It will be a bit smaller at the same CRF, but the quality will be increased as well.
Overall, the 10bit is coping better with banding issues overall and is therefore the way to go, especially for Anime.
# someguy | 2011-08-29 03:04
hi10p and the filesizes are just as large? whats up with that.
# kantori | 2011-08-28 21:34
woohoo Railgun in 10bit, I hope hope! this isn't gonna need patches!
Thanks Elysium!

Are you guys doing Madoka in 10bit too? if So please include extra such as the BD menu >.
# Jeff | 2011-08-28 20:50
Thanks a bunch for doing all this! I was wondering if I already have your 1080p release, is it worth me getting this one instead? I never really understood the 10p difference X.X
# killazys | 2011-08-28 21:12
get it, i think you'll be surprised by the 720p (Railgun is an upscale anyway)
# Dwarf | 2011-07-30 13:11
i just found out about this group and you guys literally saved me of a lot of work which i have no idea how to do!
thank you very much! downloading + will seed of course!
# sharm | 2011-07-09 22:16
720p any time soon??? I'm just curious
# Slowpoke.exe | 2011-06-21 17:43
Any chance of seeding both of these?

Pulling 50kbs on the series.
# Sutai | 2011-08-13 10:31
seconded, pulling 10kbps =c
# Ametatsu | 2011-08-16 11:28
You can always download it from FileServe...
# Zero | 2011-03-09 14:20
Torrent for the OVA is dead, ddl please..
# Ametatsu | 2011-03-09 16:36
The torrent is actually not dead. Its a bug in the nyaa. Atm, there are 15 seeds :)
But DDL still will be up soon
# Blazing Badger | 2011-03-09 00:08
Damn! Just when I finished downloading AtsA I find your group. When I have limited bandwidth and a high standard for quality it really sucks. Now I'll have to squeeze this in-between the other series I am currently downloading. Thanks for the release, I only wish I could have found it earlier!
# TexKlan-Z- | 2011-03-05 18:36
Can you please upload both Series and OVA to FileServe or MegaUpload? Downloading Torrents sucks here.

Thank you so much. :D
# shizuo | 2011-03-05 01:16
any chance that this will be getting ddl links? :)
torrents are not friendly in my dorm
# Ametatsu | 2011-03-05 01:19
alright, I'll upload them... just for you -.^
# Ametatsu | 2011-03-06 20:41
DDL for Main Series is up. I'll get the OVA up soon as well
# shizuo | 2011-03-06 23:17
thanks alot! much appreciated!
# Khrno | 2011-02-25 15:15
Hey guys. I downloaded your 1080p, but was only able to play Ep1, 5 and the OVA, for all the other eps I get the message on MPC: "Cannot render the file".

Did you encode any differently those 3 episodes compared with the rest? I don't see anyone else who posted, having any problems, so it might be on my side. I've already followed your guidelines from the Video Playback Section, but it was the same before, with just the CCCP after a clean install, and with the latest K-Lite Mega Pack. No problems with any other 1080p mkv files either.

Should I just redownload them and see if that helps? Thanks
# Ma15 | 2011-02-25 15:30
If you're using CCCP, you won't need K-lite codecs since CCCP comes with MPC-HC and all corresponding codecs. Re-check all your episodes through utorrent or w/e client you're using to make sure you have downloaded all chunks.
# Ametatsu | 2011-02-25 17:06
You prolly missed the first step of uninstalling ALL other codecs. Use CCCP Insurgent to clean up your computer.
# pijkole | 2011-01-21 20:08
hey, thanks your releases are awesome ^^
# kantori | 2011-01-20 19:35
I got them already, was hoping for a BD version release.

Thxs Ametatsu for Railgun.
# kantori | 2011-01-20 16:32
This might be a bit late in asking this...
Any chance on the special Railgun MMR?
# Ametatsu | 2011-01-20 18:30
Nope, not released on BD
# hoe | 2011-01-17 08:34
AtsA has already finished this long time ago. If you have time, it would be nice if you did comparison shots.
# Ametatsu | 2011-01-17 12:58
Hmm, indeed, I must have missed that. Failed researched >.< lol
I will check out their release and see if its good. I'll still do it if the release isn't up to par with our standards.
# Ametatsu | 2011-01-17 13:40
Looks like I'll still pick it up. [DECAY]'s RAWs are waaay better than AtsA's. Even though the original BD quality wasn't the best, AtsA's release made it look worse
# arba | 2011-01-17 04:33
Great news! Will you be doing the OVA as well?
# Ametatsu | 2011-01-17 13:16
# Ma15 | 2011-01-17 03:49
Would you be willing to upload the ASS w/ fonts seperately? I'm about 70% finish downloading the raws so it would help a lot - I'll help seeding after I'm done
