Logo Contest Finalists and Voting

It's time to take this logo contest to an end. First of all, thanks for all the logo entries! We've gotten over 20 total logos and it was quite hard to pick out these finalists here. We finally managed to get together these 5 that be belive are the best and fit with what we were looking for. Now, we want YOUR opinion. Check out the finalists and vote for your favorite after the break!

The following 5 finalists are labeled from A-B. Vote for the letter that corresponds to your favorite logo on the poll below!

Polls will be open for 3 days!

If you cannot click on the radio buttons above, the solution to that is... to use a browser that doesn't suck (i.e. Firefox, Chrome, IE, Safari). Will not work in Opera! The Opera rendering engine does not support these standards.

Some improvements could be made to A.

The circles should be a little bit smaller, and centered perfectly behind the "e".

I tried doing that, but it doesn't work as well as you'd think.

xD Ah, just when I find out my entry (which I'm not too confident in) comes up in here, the good ideas start popping up in my head.
Anywho, A and C are looking really nice. I'm liking A more, but I think C would work better as an icon/symbol, so it'll be tough deciding.

C is better as a logo, yes, but didnt it remind you of SunOS ?

It seems you haven't fixed those radio buttons yet. I cannot vote, because I cannot select the radio button.

I'll try to remain civilized as possible ... but your comment is disappointing at best. Thank you, my browser serves me fine, in fact, it serves me awesomely from version 8.5 onwards. I won't change my browser because of one web-site, and no one should (except keeping it up-to-date). And at the other hand, instead of pointing with fingers, you should at least try to optimize your web-site in order to support at least the most used browsers.

However, to be a little constructive here, try to remove that fancy skin for the radio buttons, maybe that's the source of the problem.

I apologize if my comment offended you.. that was not the purpose.

However, the reason the skin is on there is because the default radio buttons look... stupid... with this site's theme (especially since Opera likes to throw there own skin on it). I don't believe that I should take that off to give compatibility for one browser that decided to not support such a simple javascript functionality. It works in virtual every other browser I've tested.

So, in short, I won't degrade my website to provide compatibility with a browser that refused to comply with continuously evolving standards, whether that browser is popular or not. If all websites did this... we would have no innovation (at least, not nearly as fast). The fact is that Opera has always been (and IMHO always will be) playing catch-up to all the other browsers on the market.

Non taken. :)

But I would always choose compatibility over some tiny visual effect. Honestly, these radio buttons are small enough to people not even notice, so it wouldn't ruin the look of your web-site if the radio buttons are blue and not green. It certainly won't make your web-site ugly.

Notice how I left out "IMHO". We are not talking about some major feature here. We are talking about a little eye-candy, which obviously breaks compatibility. In other words, you actually degraded your web-site by lowering it's compatibility, and thus, accessibility, because of a skin of a radio button.

I'd take A, but I would make the circles smaller and the font not that bold.

They are all pretty good! I think I like "A" best by itself. However, I can almost see it more in a magazine than on a website. "C" is pretty cool too. I really like the font in it but I'm not sure about symbol. The one you are already using is nice too! xD

OK, I'm going to have to go with "C" but I think it might look better without the symbol on the left. I just really like that font!

I voted for E, but now I change my mind and I prefer A. >.<

Should allow re-voting.

If I only took some time doing a logo ... Oh well. I think they all have something. I'd even mix some of them together to get something better. But to be honest I think your current one is best. Chosing between A and E, I'd pick A. Cause the others resembe the NVIDIA logo quite a lot. Even though I don't like the font.
